During the past 7 years,
Verne Lucero has
participated in the rebirth
of the historic
La Posada Hotel
in Winslow, AZ,
where he created
a set of
massive tin chandeliers
for the dining room,
reverse-painted sconces
for the public rooms
and a large and arresting Madonna nicho
for the entrance hall.
This piece entitled
"Our Lady of the Rosary"
has been cited as one of the finest pieces of
Spanish Colonial Tinwork
in America.
